This Privacy Policy explains what personal information ETEVVU collects when you visit etevvu.com or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Our store serves customers in the United States, and this policy is written for U.S. customers and U.S. privacy laws.

We collect personal information to process and deliver your orders, make made-to-measure suits, answer your questions, and run our store. Collecting personal information is not the purpose of our website, and we do not sell your personal information for money.

Information you give us

Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number if you provide one
Order details: shipping and billing address, items ordered, order history, and notes you add at checkout
Made-to-measure details: body measurements, garment measurements, height, weight, and fit preferences you enter for made-to-measure or special request orders
Messages and photos: emails and chat messages you send us, and photos you share for returns, size checks, or replacement parts
Reviews: the rating, written review, display name, and any photos or videos you choose to include when you leave a product review
Account details: if you create an account, your login email and saved addresses

Payment information

Credit and debit card payments are processed by our card payment processor and collected by our affiliated company in Hong Kong, Ruiheng Asia Pacific Enterprise Co., Limited. PayPal payments are handled by PayPal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Discover, Diners Club, and PayPal. Your full card number goes directly to the payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive only limited details, such as the card type, the last four digits, and whether the payment was approved. If you pay with PayPal, your payment is handled by PayPal under its own privacy policy. More details are on our Payment and Security page.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, some information is collected automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

Your Photos, Reviews, and Measurements

Photos you send to customer service, such as photos of a defect or a tape measure on your suit, are used only to handle your request. They are never published.

Your measurements are used only to make and check your order. They are never published or used for advertising.

Reviews you submit are published on our website with the display name you choose, along with any photos or videos you decide to include. You can ask us to remove your review at any time by emailing us.

We will never use your photos, your review, your measurements, or any other personal information in our advertising or on social media without your clear permission first.

Who We Share Your Information With

We share personal information only when needed to run our store and fulfill your order:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout
Our card payment processor, Ruiheng Asia Pacific Enterprise Co., Limited, and PayPal, to take payment and prevent fraud
Shipping carriers, who need your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order
Our U.S. returns warehouse, to receive and check returned items
Our partner workshops, who receive your measurements and style choices to make your suit. They do not receive your payment information.
Klaviyo, which we use to send order-related and marketing emails, and text messages if you sign up for them
Judge.me, which we use to request, collect, and display product reviews
Google, Meta, and TikTok, which provide analytics and advertising services. Through pixels and cookies on our site, they receive information such as pages viewed, items added to cart, and purchases, which helps us measure our ads and show our products to people who may be interested.
Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others

If our business is ever sold or merged, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and this policy would continue to apply to it.

Cookies and Advertising

We use cookies and pixels to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site traffic, and show our ads. Some are placed by third parties, including Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and TikTok.

When you first visit our site, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link at the bottom of our site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work properly without them.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Marketing Emails

We send marketing emails only if you sign up for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. Even after you unsubscribe, we will still send emails about your orders, such as confirmations, measurement confirmations, and shipping updates.

Text Messages

If we offer text messages and you choose to sign up, we will send order updates or marketing messages to the mobile number you provide. Signing up is always optional and is never a condition of purchase.

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. You can reply HELP for help.
Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
We use Klaviyo to send text messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that help us send messages.

Where Your Information Is Stored

Our store runs on Shopify, and your information is stored on Shopify servers and the servers of the service providers listed above, which may be located in the United States and other countries. Card payments are processed through our card payment processor and our affiliated company in Hong Kong. Our team in Suzhou, China, accesses order and measurement information to prepare, check, and ship your order, and our partner workshops in China receive the details needed to make your suit. By placing an order, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, Hong Kong, and mainland China for these purposes.

How We Protect Your Information

Our entire site, including checkout, uses SSL encryption. You can see this as https and a lock icon in your browser address bar.
Card payments are processed by our card payment processor, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the standard set by the major card brands for handling card data.
Access to customer information is limited to team members who need it to handle your order.

No website can guarantee complete security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you if required by law in the event of a data breach.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle returns and questions, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We keep made-to-measure measurements with your order so we can answer questions and help if you reorder. Published reviews stay on our site until you ask us to remove them. You can ask us to delete your measurements or other information at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

Your Privacy Rights

All customers can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy
Correct information that is wrong
Delete your personal information, except records we must keep by law
Remove a review you have published
Stop sending you marketing emails or text messages

To make a request, email service@etevvu.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We may ask you to confirm details from your order to verify your identity before we act on the request.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights:

Right to know: the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with
Right to delete: personal information we have collected from you, with some legal exceptions
Right to correct: inaccurate personal information
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. Sharing information with Google, Meta, and TikTok through cookies and pixels to show you our ads on other sites and apps may count as sale or sharing under California law, and you can opt out of it
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you
Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices, or treat you differently for using your rights

Categories of personal information we collected in the past 12 months: identifiers such as name, email, phone number, address, and IP address; commercial information such as orders and purchase history; internet activity such as pages viewed and email engagement; approximate location based on IP address; photos and videos you submit with reviews or support requests; and physical measurements you provide for made-to-measure orders. These come from you, your device, and our service providers, and are used and shared for the purposes described in this policy.

How to opt out of sale or sharing: use the Your Privacy Choices link at the bottom of our site, visit our data sharing opt-out page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

How to make other requests: email service@etevvu.com with the subject line California Privacy Request. You may also use an authorized agent, who must provide written permission from you. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why.

Residents of Other States

Residents of several other states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and Oregon, have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. You can make these requests the same way, by email or through the Your Privacy Choices link. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line Privacy Appeal, and we will respond within the time required by your state law.

Children

Our store is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on our site.
